The Hay Barn's rustic interior is the perfect backdrop for any event.
With the prestigious University of California Santa Cruz in the background, and the rich historical significance of the Cowell Ranch property, the Hay Barn is an obvious venue choice for a film screening, educational workshop or lecture. Easily accommodating groups up to 325 (standing room maximum), the 2500 square foot Main Hall offers flexibility, excellent ventilation and a one-of-a-kind environment for your next function.

The Hay Barn is conveniently located at the entrance to UC Santa Cruz and is in close proximity to Downtown Santa Cruz, the beach and Boardwalk, restaurants and many hotels.
Corporate Meetings, Events, and Seminars
The Hay Barn’s uniquely modern aesthetic and historic significance creates a dynamic space for any corporate retreat or meeting. With a large and open floor plan (23 feet wide by 114 feet in length) the Cowell Hay Barn can easily seat up to 150 in the main hall with outside overflow.
